Renaissance
From Italy to Antwerp

Following “Milano Design Week,” where we had the opportunity to showcase the results of several collaborations, we invite you to leave Italy, the birthplace of the Renaissance, and head north to the regions that carried on this revolution in the history of art.
With our new Patinir Landscape Scenic Decor, we invite you to rediscover the abundance and refinement of the Flemish Renaissance.
To mark the occasion, we have brought together all our Renaissance-inspired creations into one Portfolio, designed to inspire and support your projects. Featuring 8 Scenic Decors, 5 Ceilings, 8 Repeat Designs, and 1 Architectural Decor, it is an unmatched resource for Renaissance-style interiors.
From a View of Venice to Brussels tapestries, Dutch marquetry, and intricate damask motifs, this remarkable period has long inspired Iksel’s collections of Scenic Decors, Architectural Wallpapers, Ceilings, and Repeat Design Wallpapers.
The Iksels
Patinir Landscape

Active in Antwerp at the turn of the 16th century, Joachim Patinir was a pioneer of landscape painting.
Our Scenic Decor Patinir Landscape SC167, crafted entirely in our studio, is rich with references to Patinir’s world and the artists in his circle, including Albrecht Dürer and Quentin Metsys.
The composition and numerous details of plants and animals capture the naturalist sensibility of the Flemish Renaissance and the particular blue skies that characterize the work of Patinir.

This decor comes with an assorted ceiling and assorted architectural elements : one wainscoting and two borders, sold by panelsin 300 cm (118 1/8″) length.

San Marco Lion Ceiling CE167L cs11 Multicolor
San Marco Ceiling is inspired by a late 15th Century carved wooden masterpiece from Venice’s historic Scuola Grande di San Marco. Its circular motifs and detailed borders reflect the height of Venetian craftsmanship.
The Ceiling is available in two options: adorned with a central medallion featuring the Lion of San Marco (CE167L), the enduring symbol of Venice, or without the Lion (CE167M).
